We walked in and were immediately greeted. Service was really great there the whole night.
We started off with some warm Sho Chiku Bai Sake, which was excellent. Then, decided on the Crunchy Crab Roll, Creamy Mermaids, Miso Butterfish and a Spicy Ahi Roll with skinny onion rings on top. I also couldn't help myself and ordered an Ankimo nigiri for myself.
Everything was delicious, though, I have to admit my favorite was probably the least expensive thing on the menu- Creamy Mermaids. Shrimp and Cream Cheese in a crispy wonton wrapper. That's it! So simple, but I'm a sucker for anything fried stuffed with cream cheese.

I've been here twice and the last time I stopped in with a few co-workers (just a short walk from my old office) for lunch. We were all hungry and decided to get their larger combo offering, but were confused when we found that it offered less food than the regular combinations with no discernible increase in food value (i.e. fish versus chicken, etc.). We jokingly refer to it now as the "Less for More Combo".
