Pa'ina Cafe Hawaiian Bowl and Lau Lau

Recently went back to Pa'ina for my favorite, their Hawaiian Bowl, first seen here. While waiting for my order, I saw one family order 3 lau laus! All came out steaming, and looked really delicious. Did I mention I heard the Pa'ina staff say it was only $4?! Yes, please! So I went ahead and ordered one!

Pa'ina offers their Hawaiian Bowl- Kalua Pig, Lomi Lomi and your choice of Poke- and also offers a Hawaiian Plate. The plate comes with Pork Lau Lau, Lomi, Rice and Poke.

Verdict? Boy was the Lau Lau extremely salty!!! I didn't want my sodium level to skyrocket, so I ate about half and threw out the rest. Tasted really great when I first tried it, but it seemed to get saltier and saltier with every bite. Too bad it was so salty because it was the most moist lau lau I've had. Oh well. From now on, I'll just stick with my Hawaiian Bowl!

PS- the bowl usually comes with Lomi, but I ask for extra Kalua Pig instead!
