From the moment I woke up that day, I had the audacity to have a "Birthday Girl" attitude. You know what I'm talking about- "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to." I was incredibly stuck up, and expected my friends to put on the bday dinner of a lifetime. And you know what, they fully exceeded my expectations... not that I should have even had expectations at all! They first spoiled me with a tiara fit only for a Princess, then proceeded to treat me to Curry Nabe and Sukiyaki from my favorite restaurant, Ichiriki Loft, and then topped it off with some Dom Perignon champagne and presents! Of course, I could have done without all of the superficial stuff, but it is quite nice to be spoiled...every now and then...
But the best gift of the night was just being able to have everyone together, celebrating and doing what I love and do best...EATING!
Thank you. You know who you are. It was the best 25th a girl could ask for.
Cheers to all you May babies out there! |

Happy belated birthday. Haven't checked out Ichiriki Loft yet, figured it was similar to downstairs just more drink oriented? A bottle of Dom Perignon isn't a bad way to end a bday celebration! :)
